Moderation Guidelines

Pure Twitch exists to help users avoid sexually explicit content on Twitch. These guidelines explain the criteria used to determine whether a streamer will be hidden by the extension.

Criteria for Blocking Streamers

Streamers may be blocked based on the following criteria:

2. Revealing or Inappropriate Clothing

Streamers wearing attire that exposes or accentuates sexual regions may be blocked, including:

  • Underwear, lingerie, or swimwear used outside of an appropriate context
  • Clothing that lacks sufficient coverage of the genital or surrounding area
  • Outfits focused on highlighting breasts, buttocks, or thighs

3. VTuber Avatars With Sexual Focus

Avatars must follow the same standards as human streamers. VTubers may be blocked if their character:

  • Features oversized or exaggerated sexual features
  • Is visually focused on genitals, breasts, buttocks, or thighs
  • Wears revealing attire that would violate the human clothing rule

4. Sexually Suggestive Behavior or Content

Streams may also be blocked based on behavior, not just appearance. This includes:

  • Content primarily centered around sexual themes
  • Seductive dancing or posing
  • ASMR or roleplay with overtly sexual tones
  • Excessive use of sexual language, tags, or marketing

Important Notes

  • These guidelines are enforced through community reporting and manual review.
  • Context matters. Content like gym wear or cosplay may not result in blocking unless clearly sexualized.
  • Being blocked on Pure Twitch does not remove a streamer from Twitch. It simply hides them for users of this tool.
  • If you believe a stream was incorrectly blocked, you can request a review or appeal.

We believe in user choice, transparency, and a Twitch experience free from unexpected adult content. These guidelines may evolve as the platform and community grow.
